The SendaGuy Now team just got back from exhibiting at the International Restaurant and Foodservice Show of New York at the Jacob Javits Center and we’re exhausted!
This was a must-attend event for anyone involved in the restaurant, foodservice or hospitality industry. We had the chance to network with everyone from kitchen equipment manufacturers and food distributors to POS software, furniture and uniforms. We got a lot of interest from restaurant owners, caterers, bakers, chefs, and others from across all segments including bars, nightclubs, hotels and commercial foodservice operations.
We even got an award!
SendaGuy Now was honored by being nominated as one of the most exciting New Product Innovations on display at the show. Of the hundreds of vendors that came to exhibit this year, we were recognized for creating a revolutionary service that’s changing the industry.
And don’t forget THE FOOD!
There were multiple opportunities to taste new creations from the Budweiser BBQ sauce line to local brands like Sail Away unveiling their new Nitro Cold Brews. The show wouldn’t have been complete without the US Pastry Competition. Several students from across the country competed in this year’s competition. The theme was an ode to Salvador Dali, and his paintings came to life with intricate displays of cakes and chocolates accompanied by cupcakes adorned alike.
Special thanks to the team at the New York State Restaurant Association and Agency21 for putting together such a great show. We’ll definitely be back next year and if you have a chance to go, we strongly recommend it!
